About the role
This temp-to-perm position is based in a food manufacturing environment and as a Hygiene Operative, you will play a key part in ensuring it is a safe, clean environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning in a food factory to a level of excellence against food industry standards.
- This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, including the correct use of PPE, cleaning equipment, and chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines.
- Accurately complete cleaning records and report any maintenance issues, hazards, incidents, or incomplete tasks to the supervisor.
- Adhere to company and client policies, maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to workplace safety at all times.
