Indeed Flex operates as a Managed Service Provider, and the strength of our agency network is a direct competitive advantage for our clients. The Partnerships Team Lead owns the performance of that network by building a high-functioning team, driving agency fulfillment through data, and shaping a supplier strategy that makes Indeed Flex the MSP of choice. You’ll build a team that operates at a high standard: one that uses data well, works smartly and efficiently, and has strategic conversations with agency partners. Your job is to make that the norm, not the exception. Alongside that, you’ll represent Indeed Flex externally at a senior level, showing up as a credible commercial partner to the agencies that matter most to our network.
This position is located onsite in Austin, TX (at The Domain), five days per week, with the option to work from home on Thursdays.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum two (2) years of supervising a team of support representatives in a high-volume, high-urgency environment with omni-channel support platforms.
- Background in staffing, MSP, or a supply-side marketplace; familiarity with how national and local agency models differ.
- Strong people and operational leadership, develops team capability, sets a high bar for how work gets done, and fixes processes that don't scale.
- Confident managing challenging conversations with agency partners and internal stakeholders to drive performance outcomes.
- Strong operational instinct: quickly identifies where a team is working harder than it needs to and puts better processes in place.
- Data-driven: comfortable interrogating performance data, building reporting frameworks, and making decisions based on what the numbers show.
- Actively uses AI tools in day-to-day work and can bring a team along in adopting smarter ways of working.
- Commercial and strategic acumen: able to structure pricing models, lead complex supplier negotiations, and identify the right levers to improve network performance.
- Able to engage credibly at C-level with external agency partners; confident presenter and negotiator.
- Strong communicator who can translate network insight into client-facing narratives and internal stakeholder decisions.
- Highly proficient with utilizing several tools to enable real-time collaboration with a globally distributed workforce such as Miro, Monday, Salesforce, Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, etc.
- A commitment to driving the Indeed Flex mission: to help people get jobs, instantly.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Strong understanding of Human Resources, Recruitment, and/or Staffing industry.
- Previous experience supporting a global enterprise with a globally distributed support team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and develop the partnerships team, setting clear goals, coaching on commercial and data skills, and maintaining a high bar for how work gets done.
- Drive agency fulfillment performance through data by taking allocation decisions, de-listing agencies, rebalancing supply and identifying true supply gaps, owning KPIs, leading QBRs, and holding partners accountable to fill rates, quality, and service levels.
- Build and maintain smart, AI-enabled team processes through automation, reporting and workflow optimization, eliminating manual work and ensuring the team has the dashboards, tools, and cadences to operate efficiently.
- Define the agency supplier strategy, when to partner with national players, when to plug in local agencies, and when to exit underperformers.
- Surface agency network insights to inform client conversations, helping Revenue position Indeed Flex as offering a stronger, better-managed supply chain.
- Own agency performance outcomes; partner with Revenue on client strategy, product on efficiency & Ops on execution.
- Own rate card negotiations and commercial terms across the agency network, optimizing our pricing strategy.
- Recruit new agency partners into the network and pitch the Indeed Flex MSP proposition to senior agency leaders where needed.
- Identify gaps in the function whether that's a key hire, a process that doesn't scale, or a product change that would improve how agencies perform within the network.
What you’ll get:
- $95,000 to $130,000 annual salary.
- Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K.
- Performance-based bonus totaling 12% of annual salary.
