The Role

This is an in-office role, five days per week with the option to work from home on Thursdays.

We are based literally a 30-second stroll from Farringdon station.

We are seeking a commercially driven National Business Development Manager to drive enterprise client acquisition and revenue growth across the UK.

You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new national and multi-site clients while building a high-quality pipeline aligned to our strategic growth sectors.

This role requires a hunter mindset, strong outbound discipline, and the ability to translate workforce challenges into scalable, flexible staffing solutions.

  • What you’ll be doing
  • New Business Acquisition
  • Identify and target national and multi-location employers in priority sectors
  • Develop strategic outbound plans to penetrate target accounts
  • Secure and lead discovery conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Build compelling commercial proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Convert qualified opportunities into long-term revenue partnerships
  • Build and maintain a high-value pipeline aligned to revenue targets
  • Accurately forecast performance and deal progression
  • Ensure strong CRM discipline and opportunity hygiene
  • Collaborate with internal teams and foster a relationship with Indeed to enhance deal probability
  • Market Development
  • Identify emerging sectors and national account opportunities
  • Provide feedback on pricing, positioning, and competitive landscape
  • Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities

Objective: Ability to strategically build pipeline, win high-margin deals, and consistently hit:
Consistently manage a minimum of £37.5m of pipeline

  • What you'll need
  • Proven success in new business sales or business development
  • Experience selling workforce, Saa S, or marketplace solutions preferred
  • Strong outbound prospecting and account penetration skills
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Data-driven pipeline and forecasting discipline
  • Experience selling into multi-site or enterprise clients
  • Knowledge of recruitment, staffing, or workforce technology sectors
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally in scale-up environments
