We currently offer Total Waste Management and Waste‑to‑Energy solutions in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Portugal, the UK and Ireland.
The Production Shift Team Leader operates within a 5‑shift rota system and is responsible for all production and operational coordination activities required to operate the Rivenhall facility in a safe, efficient and compliant manner.
Role & Responsibilities- Coordination of all production and material handling processes within the facility and maintenance of the facility in a clean and tidy manner at all times while operating on a 24 hour/365 days per year basis.
- Consumable and additive management.
- Coordination of external production support services.
- Coordination with the maintenance team and facilitation of maintenance activities within the facility.
- Identification and scope determination of operational improvement projects that simplify, standardise or improve the operability and/or compliance of the facility.
- Leading, developing and motivating the Production Shift Team to deliver operational excellence across all facility operations.
- Participate in the development, control and optimisation of operational budgets in conjunction with the Production Manager.
- Ideally HNC/HND educated in a technical or process related area of study, but significant applicable experience will be acceptable in lieu of qualifications.
- Proven operational shift experience within a power generation or continuous process industry.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years people‑management experience.
- Knowledge and experience in a high‑temperature continuous process (metallurgy, power generation, cement industry, petrochemicals).
- Attention to detail.
- Unrelenting focus on continuous improvement of the facility and its people.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK, as no visa sponsorship will be offered for this position.
