Indaver is a full waste management specialist that offers a comprehensive in-house solution for your waste and recycling requirements. This, combined with bespoke fine chemicals manufacturing provides a holistic end-to-end provision for hazardous waste, recycling and molecular development.
At its site in Middlewich, Cheshire, UK (with immediate central links to the M6), Indaver operates a solvent recycling facility; accepting hazardous and non-hazardous (waste) solvents, providing bespoke recovery solutions. Indaver is able to support the customers with lab analysis, pilot scale trials, and recycling at commercial scale. A highly skilled and experienced workforce, including chemical engineers, engineers, chemists, and senior plant operators, are at your service. With continuous investment and innovation to enhance existing facilities and new equipment to meet the needs of the customer base.
Responsibilities:
- The role provides engineering solutions, primarily through hands-on reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance schedules on the production plant & equipment.
- Deal with sub-contractors and the operations team who will assist in the execution of other maintenance work according to engineering best practices, procedures and standards to ensure 100% compliance in all areas.
- Keep accurate up-to-date records of equipment calibration and certification.
Experience / Qualifications:
- To perform this role effectively you must hold relevant electrical and mechanical qualification (electrical bias).
- HNC or NVQ Level 3 relevant qualification.
- Exploring and implementing new ways to automate systems.
- Programming new automated components.
- Identifying quality issues and writing technical reports.
- Eliminating defects and error with product and software development.
- Collaborating with others.
- Research suitable solutions to industrial issues.
- Propose modifications to already existing equipment.
- Service and maintenance of equipment.
- Managing inspection and maintenance programmes.
- Estimating material, construction and project timescales.
- Specifying, implementing, maintaining and improving electrical equipment.
- Apply practical approach to solving problems.
- Cable specifications, design and calculations in line with BS 7671/IEC 60364.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and Relays.
- Work as an operational engineer carrying out PPM, Reactive Maintenance and ride start up tasks.
- Respond to any breakdowns and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently.
