Role & Responsibilities
This is a pivotal role focused on expanding our customer base, enhancing profitability, and ensuring our services align with market needs and regulatory standards. You will be very hands-on, prospecting accounts and opportunities in a very competitive and challenging environment. You’ll develop and execute the commercial strategy and drive sustainable revenue growth for the hazardous waste transfer station.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial pipeline and market intelligence
- Proactively develop and manage sales portfolio
- Negotiate commercial contracts
- Oversee full sales cycle
- Implement pricing policies in collaboration with the Business Manager
- Build durable multi-channel customer engagement
- Build partnerships with disposal and service providers
- Coach and develop a team of 3–4 commercial professionals
- Ensure regulatory compliance

Experience and Qualifications Required
- Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Environment or related field
- 10+ years in commercial/business development within waste/environmental services

- Comprehensive knowledge of UK/EU waste legislation, ADR and circular economy principles
