Introduction
BIP Environmental is an Environmental & Waste Management company based in Cheshire, operating a permitted Hazardous Waste Transfer Station. BIP support a wide range of clients in the safe and environmentally responsible disposal of their hazardous waste.

The Stock Control Administrator will have full ownership of one of our key accounts, managing the full job lifecycle. This includes booking the job in, entering this into our internal stock system, and generating invoices.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our internal stock system to ensure accurate stock records.
  • Complete and update weekly stock takes, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Regularly review and reconcile our internal stock system and tidy up any incorrect entries.
  • Process paperwork completed by operators and enter this into our internal stock system.
  • Backfill figures into our internal stock system to ensure accurate records.
  • Assist with profit and loss analysis for outgoing loads where required.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance reporting, and strengthen account performance.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Proficient in using internal systems and comfortable learning new platforms quickly.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to stock discrepancies and financial reporting.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (desirable).
