We're looking for a Data Strategy Director to lead the transformation of our data offering — moving it from a collection of tactical, technical solutions into a centralised strategic capability that powers performance across every digital touchpoint. This is a pivotal, forward-looking role. You'll be responsible for bridging the gap between complex data infrastructure and overarching business goals, ensuring that client data assets become primary drivers of growth, measurement, and activation across paid media, SEO, programmatic, and beyond.
You'll work closely with Client Directors, technical engineers, and activation teams to shape data strategies that are deeply embedded in client marketing conversations — not treated as a back-office function. Whether it's defining first-party data frameworks, driving AI readiness, or translating clean room architecture into commercial outcomes, your expertise will be central to how Incubeta articulates and delivers its data proposition. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior data strategist who thrives at the intersection of technical depth, commercial impact, and client leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary subject matter expert for data and feed strategy, partnering directly with clients and Client Directors to embed data into the heart of client strategy.
- Ensure data-driven thinking is a foundational component of every client response, account plan, and growth conversation.
- Lead the development of robust frameworks for account planning, data maturity assessment, and testing — translating these into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
- Regularly review and refine data maturity frameworks across your client portfolio, ensuring they are fully optimised and integrated across Incubeta services.
- Own the ongoing development of the agency's data consulting framework, templates, and best practices.
- Maintain rigorous standards for data hygiene and quality assurance while keeping commercial and strategic priorities firmly in focus.
- Serve as the primary interface between technical engineers and client account management teams, ensuring nothing is lost in translation.
- Define, evaluate, and champion the role of structured data in an AI-driven marketing landscape — with a specific focus on data readiness for AI Overviews, Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns (ASC), and Performance Max (PMAX).
- Lead clients through the transition from platform-centric or single-channel data silos into a unified, multi-platform data strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and Microsoft.
- Drive innovation around first-party data activation — including real-time inventory management, predictive customer lifetime value modelling, and bridging the gap between offline and online data ecosystems.
- Continually explore, vet, and deploy emerging data technologies including CDPs, clean rooms, feed management solutions, and advanced analytics tools to future-proof client strategies.
- Design and deliver educational training programmes that scale data strategy and data literacy across media activation and client management teams.
- Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team environment that champions intellectual curiosity, strategic storytelling, and multi-platform data expertise.
- Provide intentional mentorship, technical guidance, and strategic coaching to team members to systematically develop their consulting capabilities.
- Ensure key case studies, methodology updates, and innovation learnings are shared and embedded consistently across the business.
- Build and deepen trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, positioning yourself as their primary strategic advisor on all things data.
- Translate complex data work into high-level, narrative-driven strategic value — making the impact of data infrastructure tangible and compelling at board and senior marketing level.
- Collaborate with Client Directors to deliver a genuinely connected storytelling approach, articulating Data Strategy, Marketing Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, and SEO as a unified solution rather than disconnected services.
- Maintain a proactive cadence of client communication, delivering regular updates on market shifts, regulatory compliance developments, data innovation trends, and tailored growth recommendations.
- Significant experience in data strategy, marketing data, or analytics leadership — ideally within an agency or consultancy environment.
- Deep understanding of modern data landscapes including first-party data, CDPs, clean rooms, data layers, and privacy-compliant measurement frameworks.
- Proven ability to develop and lead data strategy across multiple digital marketing channels and platforms.
- Strong grasp of AI-driven marketing environments and data readiness requirements for tools such as PMAX, ASC, and AI Overviews.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to translate technical complexity into clear commercial impact for senior audiences.
- Experience acting as the bridge between technical and commercial teams, with a strong instinct for when to go deep and when to go broad.
- Track record of mentoring and developing team members in a data or analytics discipline.
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify and articulate growth opportunities through data.
- Highly organised, with strong frameworks thinking and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a complex client portfolio.
- Play a defining role in shaping Incubeta's data strategy proposition at a pivotal point in the agency's growth.
- Work across a diverse portfolio of ambitious, high-profile clients spanning multiple sectors and markets.
- Lead innovation across first-party data, AI readiness, clean rooms, and multi-platform data activation.
- Collaborate with world-class teams across Marketing Intelligence, SEO, Paid Media, Programmatic, and Development.
- Influence agency strategy and thought leadership at the highest level.
- Be part of a collaborative, intellectually curious, and high-performance culture.
- We benchmark salaries against the industry to remain highly competitive. Salaries are regularly reviewed and progress alongside your development. Performance-related bonuses are also available.
- A flexible, credit-based benefits package including healthcare, pension contributions, gym memberships, and more.
- Forward-thinking policies designed to support a high-performance and balanced working culture.
- Dedicated in-house L&D support with structured development reviews every six months, plus ongoing career support to help you progress.
If this sounds like the right next step, apply now — we'd love to hear from you.
