Incredible Kids is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, committed, energised, experienced, and qualified Nursery SENCO.

This is a Full-Time position (40 Hours per week) offering an attractive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

As Nursery SENCO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Nursery’s Special Educational Needs & Disability or Inclusion Policy, ensuring children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities are fully included in the Nursery.

Other Responsibilities Include

  • Organize, arrange, and provide high-quality SENCO support
  • Make applications to the EYIP for children with complex educational needs
  • Recognize the full range of SLC (Speech Language & Communication) disorders
  • Understand the impact of SLC on learning & behavior
  • Work in partnership with parents and other professionals as required

Qualifications/Experience

  • Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
  • SEN experience and/or qualifications
  • Knowledge of EYFS is essential
  • Experience working in Baby/Toddler/Preschool rooms is desirable
