Workwear Uniform Group Ltd (WWUGL) is a leader in the sourcing, design, manufacture and distribution of technical workwear, PPE and bespoke corporate uniforms. You’ll play a central role in driving the growth of two of the Group’s key brands: Direct Corporate Clothing (off‑the‑shelf PPE and workwear contract specialists) and Incorporatewear (bespoke corporate uniform specialists). You’ll also help establish WWUGL as a renowned brand in and of itself.
Job Purpose
Responsible for the ongoing account management and development of ICW’s clients. To ensure that the client’s contractual requirements are met in full. This will include maintenance of margins, stock management, accurate forecasting of customer spend, on time in full delivery of customer roll outs through use of project plans and internal communications, provision of customer KPI reporting, and adherence to SLAs.
Responsibilities
- Full contract and client relationship management and responsibility
- Client retention through contract extensions and involvement with associated tendering activity
- On time in full delivery of client rollouts through use of critical path planning
- Sales growth through active promotion of cross‑selling and account development
- Margin protection through pricing reviews and price file maintenance
- Delivery of garments to agreed SLAs
- Accurate forecasting of client spend
- Maintenance of accurate client data including wearer wardrobe profiles
- Completion of relevant KPI and ad‑hoc reporting
- Management of aged debt with clients
- Management of client orders and stock levels
- Management of outstanding debts, where requested
- Management of associated Account Administrator
- Ad hoc duties, as required
- Communicating and meeting on a regular basis with key internal staff to ensure co‑ordinated customer response
- Awareness of company’s ISO 19001, 14001 and 45001 accreditations, objectives, and requirements
- Attend annual company training and refresher courses
- Regular customer meetings both virtual and face to face
- You will be expected to travel to customers as required
- Any additional task or duties requested by management
Experience Required
- Proven experience of B2B account management
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Excellent analytical skills
- Highly organised with a flexible working approach
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant internal reporting systems
- Pragmatic and practical management and development skills
- Awareness of situations requiring customer empathy
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Good level of project management skills
- Good knowledge of the textile or garment industry
- Good IT appreciation and practical ability particularly Excel
- Previous experience within the corporate clothing sector desirable but not essential
- Experience of textile development and offshore manufacture advantageous
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Knowledge and command of European languages is beneficial
