Position Overview
We are currently seeking an organised individual to join our team as a Sourcing Specialist/Buyer (Strategic Bid Sourcing Lead) at our Spondon site on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities
- Act as the voice of Incora, engaging with suppliers, issuing and following up on RFQs, and developing a strong knowledge base to support effective sourcing strategies.
- Identify and target key suppliers, define strategy and lead commercial negotiations to secure optimal pricing and ensure supplier suitability and alignment with commodity sourcing strategies.
- Support Incora’s growth by developing optimised sourcing and cost strategies to retain existing customers and secure new, sustainable opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proactive self‑starter with strong organisational skills and ability to build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of costing principles and total acquisition cost; previous procurement experience essential.
- Experience in a Buyer role within manufacturing, aerospace, automotive or related sectors preferred; background in hardware procurement beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings advantageous but not essential.
- CIPS qualification (or working towards one) desirable but not essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) essential; experience using Copilot or other AI tools to enhance productivity required.
