We are currently seeking an experienced leader to join us as a Senior Supply Chain Manager in Derby. The role focuses on working closely with our suppliers to deliver world‑class performance in a true collaborative partnership. As a senior manager, you will lead a team of Supplier Account Managers, Supply Chain Controllers and a Buyer, ensuring suppliers deliver parts on time and manage escalations and issues to maintain service levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Supplier Account Managers, Supply Chain Controllers and a Buyer.
- Ensure suppliers deliver parts on time, maintaining accurate delivery schedules.
- Act as the first point of contact for managing escalations and issues to sustain service levels.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.
- Travel internationally once a quarter and visit supplier base on a monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of developing and managing supplier relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to transform supplier performance.
- Solid background in people management with a track record of influencing teams.
- Experience in the aerospace industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Copilot or other AI productivity tools.
