Our Incora Story is really taking off – we’d love you to join us for the journey! We are currently seeking an organised individual to join us as a Strategic Bid Sourcing Lead at our site in Spondon on a hybrid basis. As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry, our suppliers are at the heart of our business.

As a Strategic Bid Sourcing Lead, you will act as the voice of Incora, regularly engaging with suppliers, issuing and following up on RFQs, and developing a strong knowledge base to support effective sourcing strategies. You will identify and target key suppliers, defining strategy, leading on commercial negotiations to achieve the best possible pricing, ensuring supplier suitability and alignment with our commodity sourcing strategies. This role plays a vital part in supporting Incora's growth by developing optimised sourcing and cost strategies that enable the business to retain existing customers and secure new, sustainable opportunities.

About You

You will be naturally curious and an excellent communicator, with the ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into clear, actionable sourcing strategies with suppliers. We need a proactive self-starter who values teamwork and collaboration; you will be highly organised and capable of building strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. We are seeking individuals with a solid understanding of costing principles and total acquisition cost. Previous procurement experience is essential; this position would be particularly suited to someone currently working in a Buyer or Sourcing Specialist role in a manufacturing industry. Experience within the aerospace, manufacturing or automotive sectors would be advantageous, as would a background in hardware procurement. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings would be advantageous but not essential. A CIPS qualification (or working towards one) is desirable but not essential. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential, alongside experience using Copilot or other AI tools to enhance productivity.

Most importantly you will be passionate about our Incora Values and exceeding customer expectations:

  • Courage: Take ownership for issues and problems.
  • Collaboration: Share knowledge and experience with others.
  • Commitment: Focus on ensuring internal and external customer expectations are met in a timely way.
  • Community: We value our world and everyone who shares it.

So, if you feel you have all of this, and want to be part of developing the Incora Story apply now we can’t wait to hear from you!

In return we will offer the things that matter:

  • Starting salary up to £40,000 dependent on experience.
  • Every employee is eligible for one of our incentive programs.
  • 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays with a holiday buying scheme with the ability to buy up to 5 additional days.
  • Flexible working and family friendly policies and practices.
  • Generous Company pension scheme including 4 times salary life cover.
  • Health cash plans saving you money and helping you to stay well.
  • Participation in our EHS Programs, which include rewarding employees who use green transport to travel to work with our Green Travel Allowance.
  • A generous discount portal only available to Incora employees.

Very importantly we want to be with you to help your career take off and become part of the Incora Story. At Incora, every application is reviewed by a real person, not by AI. While we understand that candidates may use AI tools to assist with their CV or application, we value seeing your individual style and authentic voice. Please use AI sparingly so your application truly reflects you and your unique experience.

We are passionate about Diversity & Inclusion and we welcome applications from all persons regardless of their age, race, gender, disability, religion/belief, or sexual orientation.
