As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry, our Customers are at the heart of our business. As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will work with designated customers to provide an accurate review of performance and a quick response to any customer enquiries. Additionally, you will seek to improve performance to designated customers through robust containment/problem resolution. You will manage time sensitive issues using initiative, accuracy and pace. You will also conduct audits whilst engaging management in the findings, conclusions and actions, supporting the drive for continuous improvement.

Other Key Activities Of The Role

  • Non-conformance management including containment activity on site at Incora, and at Customer sites when required.
  • Daily input into MRB (Material Review Board), dealing with both supplier and onsite non-conformance issues and their resolution.
  • Support the Supplier Quality team by ensuring that issues are raised in a timely manner along with accurate supporting data to allow a swift resolution.
  • Interfacing with the Customer Solutions team to understand mission critical issues that need Quality support to resolve.
  • Support the Quality Manager to plan and execute thorough internal audits, preparing audit reports and data to engage the organisation in compliance and process maturity improvement.

About You

Ideally you will possess either a HNC or HND in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering although we welcome applications from time-served Engineers without either qualification. Sigma or Lean accreditation is desirable but not essential. You will have experience of problem resolution via root cause analysis and have applied this ideally in the aerospace or automotive sectors. Experience in ‘industrial’ rail sectors is also desirable. You will be accustomed to meeting customer needs, understanding and actioning customer requirements as and when required. Possessing an auditor qualification would be highly desirable but not essential. Most importantly you will be passionate about our Incora Values and exceeding customer expectations.

  • Courage – Take ownership for issues and problems.
  • Collaboration – Share knowledge and experience with others.
  • Commitment – Focus on ensuring internal and external customer expectations are met in a timely way.
