Our Incora Story is taking off – we’d love you to join us for the journey. We are currently seeking an organized and process-driven individual to join us as Assistant Accountant (Spondon/Hybrid). As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry, Incora supports people at the heart of our business.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Management Accountant with month‑end close tasks and preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Support cash management activities and maintain oversight of cash positions.
- Manage and maintain the fixed asset register.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Handle intercompany recharges and ensure intercompany entities remain in balance.
- Support external reporting requirements for the UK and German entity.
- Collaborate with Shared Service Centre teams in Poland to resolve complex finance queries.
- Provide general finance administration support in the UK.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a similar role such as Finance Assistant, Accounts Administrator, or Accounts Clerk.
- Currently studying towards or holding a recognised finance qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA).
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, organised, and process‑driven working style.
