We are currently seeking an exceptional Quality professional to join us as a Manufacturing Quality Lead at our site in Derby.
As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry, our Customers are at the heart of our business. As a Manufacturing Quality Lead, you will build effective working relationships with suppliers, acting as a point of contact to provide detailed technical support relating to engineering and quality matters, leading on root cause analysis and problem solving investigations to resolve Quality complaints in line with Incora process and industry standards.
You will work with suppliers using zero defects principles to deliver proactive performance improvement that complies with both customer and Incora's expectations using a range of quality tools. You will manage containment actions and Materials Review Board as well as maintaining accurate company data in our ERP system. Additionally, you will work with suppliers to ensure supplier submissions of FAIRs, Source Changes and deviations are accurate and adhere to industry specifications.
About You
You will have a degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and have knowledge of zero defects principles and their associated standards (AS13100). You will have strong knowledge of and experience with proactive quality tools (8D etc.) and Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO9001) and have experience of leading on problem resolution, root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
Ideal candidates will come from a manufacturing quality background, preferably within aerospace or an adjacent sector with relevant commodity expertise and with substantial experience working with suppliers to resolve queries and influence decision making. Good knowledge of the full MS Office package is also expected. Experience conducting supplier or internal audits is desirable but not essential.
