We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as a GRC Analyst

The GRC Analyst supports the organization’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance function. This position focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying and mitigating risks, and enhancing the overall security and operational framework. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and equipped with knowledge of compliance standards, risk management practices, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Working with various departments such as IT, legal, finance, and operations to integrate GRC practices across the organization

• Analyzing data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement, and reporting findings

• Facilitating internal and external audits, ensuring that all necessary documentation and evidence are available

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of GRC policies and procedures.

• Support the GRC Manager in setting governance standards and ensuring compliance across the organization.

• Monitor adherence to established governance frameworks and recommend improvements.

• Conduct risk assessments, identify key risks, and document mitigation strategies.

• Maintain the organization’s risk register and track risk treatment plans.

• Assist in the preparation and execution of risk management workshops.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials)

• Track and manage compliance metrics, ensuring timely reporting.

• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and findings.

• Generate reports on risk, compliance status, and governance initiatives for stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the GRC Manager to develop and deliver training programs on GRC policies and practices.

• Use and maintain GRC tools or platforms for risk tracking, compliance monitoring, and reporting.

• Identify opportunities to automate and improve GRC processes using technology.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance, or a similar role.

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX, CMMC).

• Proficiency with Excel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex regulations into actionable insights.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Proactive approach with the ability to prioritize own tasks.

• Experience in using GRC tools and platforms (a plus)

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration, Risk Management) (a plus)
