We have an exciting opportunity to join our in-house Legal team at Incommunities as a Legal Administrative Assistant.
In this key role, you\’ll provide vital administrative support to our busy Litigation and Conveyancing teams, as well as to the Head of Legal Services. Your contribution will help ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations within our busy department. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their legal administrative experience while contributing to a committed and collaborative team.

Duties include:
- Supporting the Legal Officers with a range of administrative tasks, including opening and closing case files, issuing client care letters, and assisting in the preparation of court bundles.
- Managing financial invoices promptly and ensuring office supplies, including printing resources, are well-maintained and restocked as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records by entering data into relevant systems and spreadsheets.
- Contributing to corporate reporting by providing data to Senior Legal Officers and assisting in the effective use of internal systems.
- Providing cover and additional support for the Legal Assistant when required, helping to maintain a smooth workflow across the team.
- Overseeing the organisation\’s Seal and Power of Attorney Register, ensuring accurate updates, obtaining signatures from authorised individuals, and preparing documentation for the Company Secretary and Board of Directors.
Requirements
- We\’re seeking someone with good organisational skills and a professional, team-oriented approach, who can commit to being in the office three days a week.
- Previous experience in an administrative role within an office environment, ideally assisting legal or professional services teams.
- Competent IT and keyboard skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience using case management systems would be a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.
- A professional, approachable, and friendly manner, delivering a high standard of service.
- Ability to work independently, showing initiative and good judgment when prioritising tasks.
- Salary of £26,691 rising with service to £28,411 per year.
