The Disbursement team within the Finance Department supports key reporting and operational functions of payout across different payout streams (Insurance policy related payout, vendor payout, commission payout and processing).
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Disbursement officers/team lead and assist in preparation of full suites of payout processing across different streams.
- Process all types of commission/incentives related payouts, recoveries and processing.
- Ensure all payouts are approved within approval limits, processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure completeness of payout processing and obtain authorised signatories for payouts.
- Prepare payout/journal vouchers and ensure expenses are charged to proper account codes and cost centres.
- Prepare monthly GL schedules and reconciliations, follow up and update tax invoices/GST on commission reconciliation.
- Handle all types of payout enquiries and feedback from customers/channels/stakeholders.
- Perform work process reviews, findings and contribute recommendations for change.
- Involve in project/system testing and provide user requirements through liaising with various stakeholders.
- Assist in bank account creation.
- Update standard operations procedures.
- Provide effective backup coverage.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma holder preferably with minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in payout processing.
- Good knowledge in MS Excel.
- Preferably knowledge in PowerBI, Power Query, coding skillset.
- Fast learner who is able to multi-task.
- Proactive, good interpersonal, communication and analytic skills.
- Highly organized, attention to detail and able to handle massive data.
- Pleasant, positive personality, enjoys collaborating with others.
- Knowledge of SAP accounting system will be an advantage.
