Overview
We’re reimagining global company formation and compliance. Today, forming and maintaining cross-border entities is slow, opaque, fragmented, and expensive. Our mission is to abstract away this complexity with a unified dashboard and API suite — becoming the invisible infrastructure layer that powers fintechs, SaaS platforms, DAOs, funds, law firms, and global professionals. We bring deep domain expertise to the table: our team also runs Charterhouse Lombard, a long-standing trust and corporate services provider, so we know this space inside out. Backed by experienced investors and operators, we’re combining sector knowledge with strong financial support to build the “Stripe for incorporation.”
Role — As Founding Tech Lead, you will:
- Own the architecture, development, and delivery of our MVP dashboard and APIs.
- Lead technical decisions (stack, architecture, integrations) with a pragmatic, execution-first approach.
- Work closely with the founders, sales, and operations team to turn manual workflows into automated, scalable systems.
- Build core features: intake wizard, KYC/AML onboarding, payments (fiat + crypto), status tracking, document repository.
- Develop public APIs (/incorporate, /status, /renew, /upload) to power integrations with fintechs, SaaS, and marketplaces.
- Hire and mentor additional engineers (local and offshore team).
- Ensure security, compliance, and reliability from day one (data protection, KYC standards).
Responsibilities
- Product Build: Deliver Stage 1 MVP (dashboard for incorporations) quickly, iterating with users.
- API Development: Architect Stage 2 incorporation API and ensure it can scale across jurisdictions.
- Technical Leadership: Make key build vs buy calls, establish coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks.
- Integration: Work with TCSPs, KYC providers, and payment rails (Stripe, crypto wallets).
- Scaling: Design systems with automation and modularity in mind.
- Team Growth: Recruit and lead engineers; manage offshore contributors.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack engineering background (frontend + backend).
- Experience building SaaS dashboards and/or APIs at scale.
- Proficiency with modern stacks (e.g., React, Next.js, Node.js, Python/FastAPI, Postgres).
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or European alternatives).
- Familiarity with KYC/AML, payments, or compliance-heavy workflows a plus.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and ship high-quality code.
- Leadership qualities — able to own architecture and guide junior devs.
