We’re growing our team in West Roxbury and Burlington, MA, and looking for coaches with the passion to help every athlete build strength, confidence, and community.
Inclusive Fitness is a sensory-friendly, adaptive fitness center serving neurodivergent athletes with intellectual, developmental, and/or physical disabilities. We combine evidence-based training with tailored coaching to build real-world strength for life, not just the gym.
We\’re seeking compassionate, energetic coaches to join our team. As a Neuroadaptive Fitness Coach, you\’ll deliver 1:1 and small-group training sessions that support athletes in reaching their goals, from movement basics to functional independence.
You\’ll work in a supportive environment alongside a dedicated team that values the presumption of competence, trust, patience, and individualized progress. This role is ideal for someone interested in meaningful connection, structured creativity, and seeing real impact in their day-to-day work.
Responsibilities may include:
• Lead adaptive, functional fitness sessions in a 1:1 or small-group setting
• Create session programs based on each athlete’s goals, needs, and abilities
• Track athlete progress and communicate clearly with the athlete and their family
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and sensory-considerate environment
• Participate in team trainings and ongoing professional development
Required:
• Genuine interest in working with neurodivergent individuals
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn adaptive strategies and Inclusive Fitness methodology
•Availability for consistent, in-person hours
Preferred (but not required):
• Experience in fitness, adaptive PE, special education, OT/PT, or related fields
• Personal training or group fitness certification
• Background in working with youth or adults with developmental disabilities
