Inc. Consulting is pleased to be partnering with a growing financial services organisation in Rotherham to recruit a Part-Time Payroll Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative People Team and take ownership of the monthly payroll function while supporting employee benefits and reward processes. Based in modern offices in central Rotherham, the role offers hybrid working and the chance to play a key part in ensuring a smooth and accurate payroll experience for employees.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll for 100+ salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process variable pay elements including bonuses, adjustments, and payroll changes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for payroll queries, providing expert guidance on payroll legislation and compliance.
- Oversee benefits administration, including pensions, healthcare, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Support annual reward cycles, including salary reviews and bonus processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records within Sage HR and ensure payroll data integrity.
- Collaborate closely with Finance and the People Team to continuously improve payroll processes and reporting.
Person Specification
- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll, ideally for organisations with 100+ employees.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, pensions, and statutory requirements.
- Experience managing variable pay elements and maintaining high levels of data accuracy.
- Highly organised with the confidence to take ownership of payroll processes.
- An interest in reward and benefits, with a passion for enhancing the employee experience.

Whats On Offer
This permanent, part-time position offers a salary of up to £40,000 FTE and hybrid working from modern offices in central Rotherham. Benefits include a bonus scheme, workplace pension, life assurance, income protection, virtual GP service, Employee Assistance Programme, and a Cycle to Work scheme. Employees also receive 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata), with additional leave awarded for long service, and the option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave.
