Inclusive Consulting is proud to be partnering with a successful and expanding international manufacturing business in the search for a newly qualified, practice-trained accountant to step into a newly created Group Financial Accountant role. This is an excellent opportunity for a 1st or 2nd time mover from chartered practice, offering broad exposure and career development in a high-performing finance team.
Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager and working closely with the CFO, you’ll gain hands-on experience across group reporting, treasury, and commercial projects. With clear progression routes and mentoring from a highly experienced leadership team, this role offers the ideal stepping stone into industry for someone looking to build a long-term career.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist with the timely and accurate production and review of monthly group management accounts
- Prepare monthly management accounts for three holding companies
- Support the production of statutory accounts under IFRS for the Group and FRS 101 for UK subsidiaries
- Liaise with auditors and tax advisors to ensure all reporting and filing deadlines are met
- Consolidate and review weekly Group cashflow forecasting
- Manage daily multi-currency treasury activity and ensure timely external borrowing repayments
- Contribute to the annual budgeting and monthly reforecasting process
- Work on ad hoc projects including due diligence, investment analysis, and financial modelling for the CFO
Person Specification
- ACA or ACCA qualified, with experience in a medium or large accountancy practice
- Technically strong, ideally with IFRS exposure and solid statutory accounts experience
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong eye for detail
- Commercially astute with good judgement and communication skills
- Able to work confidently across functions and seniority levels in a dynamic business environment
