Inclusive Consulting is excited to partner with a well-established professional services organisation, recognised for its strong values, collaborative culture, and focus on employee development. We are recruiting an experienced Financial Controller to lead the Finance and Reconciliations teams based in central Leeds. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring the department operates effectively, efficiently, and with the highest standards of financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop two established teams across Finance and Reconciliations, promoting a culture of support, rigour, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
  • Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls across the department.
  • Enhance financial reporting and internal analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and external stock.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to deliver successful annual audits.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members, supporting their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience leading and managing high-performing finance teams.
  • Skilled in coaching, delegation, and team development.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as HMRC and FCA guidelines.

This permanent role offers a competitive salary of up to c.£75,000, plus a discretionary bonus, based in Leeds City Centre with hybrid working. The organisation provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:
