Inclusive Consulting is excited to be partnering with our client during their search for an Accounts Assistant to join their team at their office based in Chesterfield. Under the guidance of the Finance Manager, you will help ensure the accurate and timely preparation of month-end accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. Additionally, you will assist with managing sales and purchase ledgers and take on credit control responsibilities. This opportunity is well-suited to a skilled transactional accountant with exceptional communication abilities, as teamwork and mutual support are critical within this small team environment. Key Responsibilities * Process, scan, and match invoices and credit notes. * Handle, resolve, and manage queries effectively. * Follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection. * Prepare and post journals. * Maintain petty cash records and journals. * Allocate cash and manage expense claims. * Process credit card statements, ensuring all expenses are properly approved. Key Attributes * Proficient in Word and Excel. * Strong attention to detail. * Team player with excellent communication skills. * Practical and hands-on approach to work. * Highly organised and focused on meeting deadlines.
