Inclusive Case Management is a specialist case management service supporting children, young people, and adults living with complex needs, including acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, cerebral palsy, developmental trauma, and long-term disability. We work closely with families, legal teams, therapists, and multidisciplinary professionals to provide coordinated, person-centred support that empowers individuals to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Role Purpose

Inclusive Case Management is seeking a highly skilled and values-driven Compliance Manager to lead our regulatory, quality assurance, and governance functions. The postholder will ensure we consistently meet statutory and CQC requirements across our growing service, supporting our commitment to delivering safe, effective, person-centred, and well-led care for individuals with complex needs, including acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, and long-term disability. This role is integral in maintaining our inspection readiness, strengthening quality systems, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • CQC & Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
    • Lead and coordinate preparation for CQC inspections and evidence submissions.
    • Maintain organisation-wide inspection readiness.
    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory notifications.
    • Monitor compliance against the CQC Single Assessment Framework and relevant quality statements.
    • Provide support and guidance to the Registered Manager and wider team.
  • Quality Assurance & Governance
    • Develop, implement, and review policies, procedures, and internal governance systems.
    • Design and oversee a programme of audits, including care records, medication, mental capacity, safeguarding, H&S, and infection prevention.
    • Analyse audit results, identify themes, and produce clear action plans.
    • Track progress and ensure improvements are embedded effectively.
    • Prepare high-quality reports for senior leadership to review.
  • Risk, Incidents & Complaints
    • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, learning, and service improvements.
    • Ensure complaints are managed in line with legislation and internal policies.
    • Identify emerging risks and elevate where appropriate.
    • Support services to develop preventative measures and monitor outcomes.
  • Safeguarding & Statutory Duties
    • Ensure robust safeguarding systems are embedded across adult and children’s services.
    • Liaise effectively with safeguarding boards, local authorities, and partner agencies.
    • Support compliance with MCA, DoLS, consent requirements, and best-practice principles.
  • Training, Support & Culture
    • Support staff and managers to understand regulatory expectations and best practice.
    • Contribute to training programmes in compliance, governance, and quality.
    • Provide expert advice during inspections, audits, and quality reviews.
    • Promote a culture of openness, learning, and accountability.
  • Partnership Working
    • Work collaboratively with case managers, MDT professionals, commissioners, and external partners.
    • Support the organisation in meeting commissioning, contractual, and reporting requirements.

Person Specification

  • Significant experience in health or social care compliance, governance, or regulation.
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks.
  • Experience supporting or leading CQC inspections.
  • Solid understanding of safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to influence, challenge, and support staff at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Professional qualification in health, social care, social work, nursing, or quality management.
  • Experience working across multi-site or community-based services.
  • Experience reporting to senior leadership or boards.
  • Training in auditing or quality improvement methodologies.
