We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically astute Section Engineer to join our progressive wastewater construction team. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between design and construction, providing valuable engineering support across the project while ensuring technical compliance to design specifications.
What will you be responsible for?
- Interpreting design documentation and ensuring works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Managing site setting out and surveying activities, resolving design conflicts to minimise delays.
- Coordinating temporary works designs and approvals in line with site requirements and programme.
- Supporting construction teams with technical queries and driving value engineering initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, quality procedures, and health and safety requirements.
What are we looking for?
- You have an HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or equivalent experience).
- You can confidently read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- You have practical experience working on infrastructure or wastewater construction projects.
- You are collaborative with excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships.
- You are detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge.
