As a Civil Engineering Degree Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience while you study towards a BEng in Civil Engineering with our university partner Coventry, all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us. You'll work closely with the Design team to provide expert design, engineering and technical advice in Kier.
Responsibilities
- Support the engineering function with management of project documentation and technical administration.
- Learn about the production of intelligent BIM models to support tender schemes and project delivery.
- Help with the production of 2D CAD drawings to support engineering functions.
- Contribute to the production of design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, reports and design risk assessments.
- Attend university during pre‑determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course.

What we are looking for
- 5 GCSEs graded 9‑4 including English, minimum grade 5 Maths GCSE.
- 3 A Levels (BBC minimum, excluding general studies) and must include Maths; or a BTEC Extended Diploma in a Construction or Engineering‑related subject with at least a Merit in the Maths unit.
- Equivalent to 112 UCAS points; Disability Confident.
