We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Natural Resources team based in Heigham, Norwich.

Location: Heigham, Norwich - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll provide strategic cost management leadership across an alliance programme, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial assurance while nurturing collaborative relationships with stakeholders and delivery teams. This role offers the perfect balance of technical challenge and people leadership in our supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Anglian Water Alliance Shared Services team, supporting them in delivering robust commercial and cost management performance. Your day to day will include:

  • Leading cost planning, estimating, and change control processes in line with NEC contracts
  • Providing expert commercial advice to delivery teams, helping them make informed decisions
  • Managing subcontract arrangements, ensuring value for money and continuity of service
  • Driving efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement across commercial processes

Qualifications

  • Have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction or Finance
  • Understand NEC contracts and have experience in commercial or cost management roles
  • Are a natural at building relationships with diverse stakeholders and team
  • Enjoy mentoring others and sharing your commercial expertise
  • Are detail-oriented but can also see the bigger picture of project success
