Temporary Works Design Engineer
We're looking for civil, structural and/or geotechnical engineers to join our team in various locations around the UK.
Locations: Birmingham / Bristol / Cambridge / Cardiff / Glasgow / Leeds / Liverpool / London / Manchester / Newcastle / Norwich / Plymouth - agile working, with up to 1-2 days per week from home if desired
Hours: 40 hours per week - flexibility on hours available if desired
Salary: Starting from Β£40k per annum
Sector: Working across all sectors of the built environment
Main Responsibilities
- Producing, checking and reviewing design outputs such as calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models, reports and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with CDM, SHE procedures and QA processes
- Acting as Project Lead for simpler projects, managing technical scope, programme, budget and relationships with preconstruction and construction teams, from bid through to delivery
- Developing yourself, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and systems, enabling the business to adapt to current and future challenges
