As an Apprentice Building Services Manager, you will support a successful team involved in the tendering, design, construction, and commissioning of MEP building services systems, gaining hands‑on experience and training throughout the process. You will study towards a BEng qualification with our university partner, London South Bank, with all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us. You will collaborate with our teams through the entire project lifecycle: tendering, pre‑construction, design, construction, commissioning, and handover. Your day‑to‑day will include gaining a structured insight into the business functions, developing and supporting the business, and guiding your future career path selection. You will also be supported by a Building Services Mentor and Building Services Buddy.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, coordination, and construction of building services systems on a range of exciting and varied projects from different sectors.
- Work closely with Building Services Managers to develop and refine design concepts that meet client specifications, comply with industry standards, and satisfy sustainability criteria.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed design solutions with Design Managers, the Pre‑Construction Team, and Commercial Teams.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Stay informed of industry trends, new technologies, and sustainability practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of building services systems.
- Assist in the management and delivery of our projects on site.
- Attend university during pre‑determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course.

Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including Maths and English.

- Alternative: Level 3 BTEC National Diploma (MM) in an Engineering subject (must include Maths & Further Maths).
