This post offers the chance to shape and strengthen both our Service User Involvement offer and our volunteering pathway, supporting Volunteer Recovery Workers, Service User reps and peer‑led activities. You will help ensure that people who use our service have meaningful opportunities to influence service development, participate in recovery‑focused activities and share their lived experience in ways that strengthen our offer across the county.

Alongside this, you will oversee a thriving volunteer programme, recruiting, training and supervising volunteers, apprentices and trainee recovery workers, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to support high‑quality service delivery. We are seeking an individual with experience in the drug and alcohol field who is passionate about visible recovery, co‑production and community‑based support. This post is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a wide range of partners, building relationships and supporting people to grow in confidence through training, involvement and volunteering. We welcome applications from individuals with lived experience of recovery from drug and alcohol use.

The postholder will actively promote Inclusion Hampshire to partners and external agencies, helping raise the profile of our service, our volunteering pathway and opportunities for people to get involved. Working together with the rest of the team you will strengthen the joined‑up, inclusive and recovery‑focused involvement offer across Hampshire.
