Looking to broaden your skillset and professional development? Then joining the No Wrong Door, Co-occurring Conditions Team is perfect for you. We will support you to further develop with the aim to become an experienced Recovery Worker over a 12-18 month period. You will be expected to work with a small caseload of clients who use drugs and/or alcohol from the beginning, with the aim to expand this as the role progresses.

The disconnect between services for people with co-occurring conditions of mental ill-health and substance use has long been recognised as a barrier to the effective treatment of patients in the community. Significant funding has now been allocated to make this a thing of the past.

If you are energised by our vision of an innovative NHS focused on tackling social exclusion and feel that you have the qualities to join our community-based team then come and discuss with us how our needs might match your aspirations.

The post will be located in the South of Hampshire, with possible bases of Fareham or Havant. By working with our partners in Community Mental Health services and Primary Care Networks, we aim to deliver truly person-centred care to those experiencing co-occurring conditions. Now is your chance to be part of this developing service in Hampshire. You will add to your skillset in the process, and work with a wide range of professionals in a variety of settings to deliver effective and long-lasting solutions to patients.

Inclusion is part of an NHS Trust that offers excellent career and development opportunities and the potential to really make a difference to our service users and the wider communities in which we serve.

Working for our organisation Inclusion, created in 2002, is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT). We provide caring and effective services across England, including West Yorkshire, West Midlands, East Midlands, West Mercia, Thames Valley, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Thurrock, Essex. We support individuals, families and communities who are affected by addiction, crime, mental health or need treatment for their sexual health.

We believe that the individuals and families who use our services should receive high quality, committed and inclusive care, realising all the benefits a modern NHS organisation can provide. We work with patients and our staff teams to achieve the best outcomes we can. We invest heavily in training and development, and the wellbeing of our people, both staff and service users is central to who we are.

Here at MPFT, we are proud of the comprehensive wellbeing and lifestyle support offer available, in addition to in-house training and coaching support. Our services are robustly governed, evidence-based, inclusive, and designed and provided in conjunction with service users. We are committed to providing the best service we can, and if you share our values, we want you on our team!

With Inclusion Recovery Hampshire in partnership with Adult Mental Health services and Primary care, you will be working with the service users and multi-agency team members to support the delivery of Recovery focussed outcomes by promoting and creating opportunities in visible recovery, harm reduction and brief interventions.
