Your Role

The Administrator role supports the safe, efficient day-to-day operation of the provision through high-quality administrative and front-of-house services. The role contributes to Inclusion Education's commitment to placing wellbeing and mental health at the heart of education ("The Inclusion Way") by helping create calm, welcoming environments for learners, families, staff and visitors. Working as part of the administration team, the postholder ensures routine processes, communication and record-keeping are accurate, timely and compliant with safeguarding and data protection requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safeguarding & Compliance
    • Visitor safeguarding checks (ID, SCR updates)
    • Basic safeguarding logging and confidentiality
  • Communications & Services
    • Reception front-of-house service
    • Lunchtime duties
    • Telephone and email enquiries
    • Meet and greet visitors professionally
    • Oversight of the info / absence mailbox
  • MIS, Data & Systems Administration
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
    • Basic MIS entry (attendance, contacts, incidents)
    • Maintain accurate daily attendance and records
  • Operational Administration & Logistics
    • Filing, photocopying, scanning
    • Ordering and stock checks (stationery/medical/groceries)
    • First aid room upkeep (training provided)
    • Daily admin tasks as required
  • Wider Provision Contribution
    • Supports school trips and local events
    • Helps prepare rooms, materials, refreshments
  • Professional Collaboration & Communication
    • Works well within a team
    • Supports staff as required
    • Maintains positive professional relationships

The successful candidate may be required to work across provisions, ensuring consistent standards and service.
