The Role
As the Warehouse Manager you will be a hands-on leader and take full ownership of their fast paced warehouse and coldstore operations. You will have the autonomy to make a real impact, leading a large team, ensuring safety, and driving continuous improvement to support our ambitious growth and sustainability goals. You will be the Head of Warehousing, and the driving force behind the team at their Lisburn site, combining people leadership with operational excellence.
Day to Day Duties
- Lead, motivate, and develop a large team, fostering a positive and engaged work environment. You will be responsible for performance management, training, and team building.
- Oversee all day-to-day operations, from managing stock and inventory to optimising order processes. You will ensure we deliver outstanding customer service and operational efficiency.
- Champion health and safety standards. You will lead on risk assessments, incident investigations, and ensure full compliance with BRC and other industry standards, preparing the site for all audits.
- LEAN / Six Sigma (Desirable) You will be instrumental in adopting new technology and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to optimize our operations.
Essential Criteria
- At least 3 years' experience managing a team of 10+ employees within a food or temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Proven experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and strong IT skills (Microsoft Office).
- Strong ability to lead, motivate, and achieve targets in a fast-paced setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety and BRC requirements.
- Flexibility and a proactive, hands-on style when it comes to warehouse operations.
