We are seeking a professional Stock Controller to join their Lisburn Team during this period of structural evolution. The company is transitioning from a successful, independent operational model into a sophisticated corporate group structure. We need a Stock Controller who can maintain the site's high performance culture while upholding the reporting and systems required for a modern, multi-site enterprise.
The Role
As the Stock Controller, you will be the primary link between physical warehouse operations and the digital inventory systems. You will be the person who bridges the gap between what’s happening on the floor and what the computer says. They need someone sharp who can keep the operation moving smoothly while the business scales up.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams to get goods from the bay to the customer without a hitch.
- Act as the main point of contact for all hauliers and suppliers, managing bay slots and priorities.
- Take charge of the stock software, ensuring every item coming in or going out is 100% accurate.
- Design and update warehouse layouts to make sure picking is fast, easy, and error-free.
- Run regular stock checks to spot and fix discrepancies before they become problems.
- Liaise with management in the loop with clear, honest updates on stock levels and performance.
- Resolve delivery queries quickly and professionally to keep our reputation solid.
- Develop and implement inventory standards to ensure staff compliance across the site.
- Monitor inventory flow and value added services, providing senior management with daily, weekly, and monthly performance insights.
- Identify and reconcile discrepancies proactively to minimize loss and operational friction.
