At Inclusion IQ, we are partnering with an award-winning, regional Estate Management organisation to appoint a high-calibre Senior Technical Support Engineer to their internal technical team. This role requires the successful applicant to provide hands-on technical support and infrastructure maintenance, ensuring our client's business-critical systems, networks, and internal operations remain robust, secure, and fully optimised.
The Role
- As the Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will focus on core IT administration, infrastructure management, and proactive problem-solving rather than high-level strategic oversight.
- Your technical expertise will directly empower internal teams and maintain seamless day-to-day performance across the board.
- You will be responsible for undertaking the following:
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Managing, scaling, and optimising the M365 environment, including Microsoft Entra ID, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Intune.
- Infrastructure & Endpoint Management: Delivering hands-on engineering across Windows Server, Hyper-V, core enterprise infrastructure, and diverse endpoint devices.
- Networking: Designing and maintaining secure, high-performance connectivity, including VPNs, enterprise firewalls, and Wi-Fi services.
- Cloud & Platform Support: Applying working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and the Power Platform to drive operational efficiency.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Upholding rigorous cybersecurity measures, regulatory compliance standards, and the continuity of business-critical systems.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Leveraging advanced analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to rapidly diagnose and resolve technical bottlenecks.
- Any other reasonable duties.
The Person
- To be considered for this role, applicants must clearly demonstrate the following skills and expertise:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, Technical Support Engineering, or similar fast-paced technical environments.
- Deep practical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server architecture, core networking, and endpoint management frameworks.
- A proactive, consultative communication style, paired with meticulous attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving acumen, and the autonomy to manage critical technical systems with minimal supervision.
