Transport Planner Full-Time Butterfly Shift
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday
Hours of work: 8.00am - 8.00pm

Inclusion IQ is delighted to be supporting our multi-award-winning client as they continue to expand their service offering to their international clients. They are seeking to appoint a Logistics Planner to join their NI Headquarters based at Lisburn.
The Role
This successful applicant will join a multi-award-winning organisation that has been operational for over 55 years. Within the last 12 months, they have promoted 10 people into management positions and invested in an external 6-month management training programme. They have also promoted 15 people across the business in the last year. With extensive and ambitious plans to grow even further in the next 5 years, the promotional opportunities are endless. Day-to-day duties
- Assign customer orders to transport in the most cost-effective and efficient way to make a delivery.
- Great geographical knowledge particularly of NI.
- Plan and assign SORs to drivers and confirm booking dates.
- Strive to ensure that all delivery requests are met for customers.
- Maintain driver and customer relationships.
- Create reports and delivery schedules for customers.
- Liaise and communicate with Customer Services and Sales to identify issues that may affect the agreed delivery time and ensure the customer is updated regarding delivery changes.
- Work closely with the Sales team to ensure that accurate order information is obtained before a delivery is scheduled.
- Ensure effective communication with customers across different communication platforms.
- Continually maintain customer files and records and provide quick accurate information when required.
- Work to a high standard and take responsibility for delivering all expected tasks.
- Meet targets and deadlines to the required standards and within agreed timeframes.
Criteria
- Minimum 18 months experience in transport planning or 24 months of transport coordination.
- Strong geographical knowledge of NI.
- Comfortable communicating with all levels of business.
- Good timekeeping and ability to work in a structured manner adhering to timetable requirements.
- Strong geographical knowledge and route planning experience across NI.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Flexible attitude to working hours & shift patterns to support the needs of the business.
