The Role
Inclusion Education is launching a newspecialist schoolfor young people aged 11–16 withchronic mental health needs and neurodiversity, opening in January 2026. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our founding team.
The successful candidates will support the administrative, financial, and organisational operations of our new provision. The role is essential to maintaining internal systems, supporting admissions and exams, coordinating staff training and CPD, and managing key documentation. You will also assist with front-facing duties and contribute to a safe, professional, and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support safeguarding procedures including managing third-party checks, provide first aid and welfare support to learners, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Act as a key point of contact for learners, families, and colleagues ensuring confidentiality.
- Maintain the school MIS, including setting up academic years, enrolling/unenrolling learners, and ensuring all data is accurate, secure, and up to date.
- Assist in organising school events and meetings and calendar activities such as parent evenings.
- Support exam arrangements, including scheduling, documentation, and liaising with relevant staff and students.
- Liaise with county transport services to manage applications, changes, and resolve any transport-related issues.
- Manage resource purchasing and liaise with the central finance team in line with procurement guidelines and budget controls.
- Coordinate new starter and transition paperwork, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and securely filed.
- Record and monitor staff training and CPD and assist in organising training sessions and maintaining compliance logs.
