Nursing Lead | Private Health Clinic | Central London | Full-time or Job Share (2 Part-time)
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Lead to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight across our outpatient services.
This role is responsible for ensuring safe, effective and high-quality nursing care across outpatient clinics, pre-operative assessment, minor procedures and phlebotomy services.
Experience working with children and young people and in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) is advantageous.
Support will be provided for Level 4 Safeguarding Children training and IPC training where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the nursing team across outpatient clinics and treatment areas.
- Oversee the delivery of pre-operative assessment services.
- Provide clinical oversight for minor procedures and phlebotomy services.
- Ensure high standards of patient safety, documentation and clinical governance.
- Support service development, quality improvement and audit activities.
- Act as a senior clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff.
- Promote effective multidisciplinary working and excellent patient experience.
- Support safeguarding, infection prevention and control and other regulatory requirements across the service.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
- Significant experience in outpatient clinics and pre-operative assessment.
- Experience supporting or overseeing minor procedures and phlebotomy.
- Strong clinical leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage priorities and maintain high standards of care.
Desirable
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Experience in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC).
- Safeguarding Children Level 4 training (or willingness to undertake; support provided).
- IPC training (or willingness to undertake; support provided).
- Previous experience within private healthcare.
