Description
Environmental Sustainability Data Scorer roles (3-month FTC September – November)
Do you have a keen eye for data and are passionate about developing a career in environmental sustainability? We have an excellent opportunity for you to join our fast-paced and diligent scoring team.
Our client scores companies and cities on their environmental performance. We are looking for several scorers to contribute to the successful delivery of the 2025 scoring process. This involves applying scoring methodologies to responses related to climate change, water security, and forests.
Successful candidates will receive training to qualify as a recognized scorer, including three weeks of full-time paid training followed by an exam. This experience could lead to excellent career opportunities in sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver the annual scoring cycle.
- Undertake and pass training to become a certified scorer.
- Score corporate and city responses accurately according to criteria.
- Perform quality assurance checks.
Required Skills and Experience
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Proficiency with IT tools, especially MS Office; basic Excel skills required.
- Diligent, independent working style.
- (Desirable) Experience in climate change, water security, deforestation, corporate sustainability, or sustainable cities.
- Language skills in English, Mandarin (Traditional/Simplified), Portuguese, or Spanish are preferable.
Location and Hours
- Training begins September 2025; work starts October 2025, ending in November.
- Remote work (WFH) expected.
- Standard UK working hours (9am – 6pm).
Equipment Requirements
- Own laptop required; a second monitor is recommended but not essential.
- Software licenses will be provided.
