An exciting role has opened at the Arc Network on our financial services portfolio for leading brands including Investment Week, Professional Pensions, COVER and more. The Arc Network connects business communities wherever, whenever, and however, people need to come together to meet, network, learn and grow their businesses. The role will be focused on all aspects of marketing, including events, awards, memberships and commercial lead generation. The Marketing Manager will also be involved in responsibilities for the overall brand position. They will work closely with the Group Marketing Director and cross-departments to deliver events and other projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, efficient, organised, and target-driven, with experience managing other marketers.
What you will be doing:
- Managing the day-to-day marketing of events (conferences, webinars, roundtables, or awards) for financial services brands using the full marketing mix.
- Managing the day-to-day marketing of the brands to increase social following, free/paid membership numbers and website traffic.
- Marketing campaigns to generate leads for the sales team for events and other products/services, monitoring progress via Salesforce.
- Executing marketing plans and producing high-quality, response-driven marketing campaigns that integrate online and offline marketing activities.
- Managing leads and monitoring the progress of the telesales support on events and awards campaigns.
- Liaising with relevant departments (sales, operations, editorial, design, customer services) to ensure effective marketing of events.
- Ensuring content is current, accurate and relevant across the website and event collateral.
- Managing social media networks including LinkedIn; promoting the brands and managing content and PPC.
- Closely monitoring and reporting registrations versus target on all events, updating central sheets for accurate financial reporting at group level.
- Regular monitoring and reporting of marketing spend against budget.
- Attending events and assisting with registration and other logistical activities.
- Managing at least one team member.
Qualifications:
- Any experience in the financial services industry would be advantageous but not essential.
- At least four years of prior marketing events experience.
- Organised, self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic to hit and exceed targets.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of multi-tasking and prioritising.
