Overview of role:

The Retail Sales Team is seeking a hands-on Business Development Manager to help grow and hit its sales goals. In this role, you will be responsible for growing a network of direct customers, growing our base of clients and supporting them to ensure they have the best possible experience and come back as returning customers, while we continue to grow and remain the leader in our fields.

As a Business Development Manager, you will identify sales opportunities in the Wealth Management and Independent Financial Adviser sectors across the UK. You will be supported to create your own client list. You will also manage key accounts. This role will also require a great level of willingness and hunger to succeed, and to hit personal and team targets. This role will work directly with both the sales and support teams and reports to the Sales Director.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Generating your own leads and opportunities
  • Meeting monthly sales targets and KPI’s
  • Work directly with the Sales Director to ensure company goals and team growth goals are met.
  • Become an expert in Investment Week and Professional Adviser industries to best understand and serve our customers and prospects.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Self-generating a pipeline of opportunities via cold calling and other methods
  • Manage the dedicated key account and nurture these long standing relationships
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
