Our client, a financial services company based in London, is looking for a well-educated Python developer to join their team. You will have at least 5 years' experience with strong independent coding skills and good leadership qualities. Experience in financial services or investment management is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build programming skills in Python, .NET and JavaScript/Typescript, keeping pace with the business requirements.
- Building and maintaining client facing applications, working with stakeholders to ensure the key deliverables are developed and live on time.
- Working with Cloud and Kubernetes deployments to transition the client apps to a more scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
- Collaboration and communication with both the IT Team and IT stakeholders.
- Build out the Client Facing Apps such that they are tested, secure and reliable.
- Project management/people management role, possible future head of technology.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years' experience with strong independent coding skills and leadership qualities.
- Experience in financial services or investment management background.
- Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes deployments is desirable.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with IT teams and stakeholders.
Logistics
This is a hybrid role and requires in-office presence on Tue/Wed & Thursday.
