The Role

Our food runners are at the heart of the action. Bringing energy, pace, and precision to every service while keeping the flow between kitchen and floor seamless.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience hosting in a restaurant or bar, using a booking platform such as Design My Night, Sevenrooms or Open Table.
  • A true team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine love for hospitality.
  • Ability to stay calm, organised, and positive during busy services.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support the wider venue.
  • Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering great service.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak event times.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming guests warmly and creating a positive first impression from the moment they arrive.
  • Managing reservations and walk‑ins, ensuring smooth table flow throughout service.
  • Providing friendly, attentive service and responding promptly to guest needs.
  • Offering knowledgeable recommendations on wines, drinks, and menu items.
  • Supporting the team to deliver a seamless dining experience during busy service periods.
  • Coordinating with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate orders.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and inviting front‑of‑house environment.
  • Handling guest enquiries, feedback, and special requests with professionalism.
  • Processing payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties, including setting up and resetting service areas.
  • Upholding health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Contributing to a positive team culture and helping create memorable guest experiences.
