We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our well-established team of Caregivers in Folkestone and Hythe. You'll be visiting our older clients in their homes and offering companionship, personal care and anything else they need to live a happy and independent life. Daily activities might include personal care, medication, domestic tasks, shopping, offering choices, social inclusion and social support.

Many people have care experience without realising it; some examples are supporting the elderly or providing regular support/help to buy shopping for a neighbour who is struggling to go out. We don't need you to have previous professional care experience as we offer comprehensive training built from our own mix of experience in the Health and Social Care sector.

If you are experienced and interested in joining Inchwater, then you might find Inchwater Home Care a little different. We offer you the time to provide excellent support and offer continuity of care with your own specific clients. We minimise travelling and wait times and we offer a very competitive mileage allowance. We want you to enable the best possible care for our clients.

What we offer a Care Assistant:

  • Paid Travel and wait time 45p per mile fuel allowance
  • Double-time rates on Bank holidays
  • Your own clients to work with, so you can build a relationship to support them
  • Minimum of 1hr visits, giving you time to provide quality care needs without rushing
  • Full training induction and ongoing training and support
  • Refer a friend bonus
  • Fully funded nationally recognised training (NVQs 2, 3, 4 and 5)

We only ask a couple of things from any Care Assistant Applicant:

  • You need your own transport
  • You are passionate to work in a team that focuses on wellbeing

We are currently looking for part-time staff to work across Hythe, Folkestone and surrounding areas for our inspiring clients. Should you be successful, you will be matched to clients that click with you and your availability. More often than not, we are approached by family members in need of some extra help with their relative, so we are looking for you to care for our clients as you would care for your own family or friends. No previous experience is required as full training is provided; all we ask is that you have a passion to care for others!

We support every Care Assistant. Our role is to support you, so that you can work comfortably knowing you have all the training, knowledge and backup you need. You can call us 24hrs a day! We pay you mileage from home, pay you during the visit and also pay you mileage and time to get to your next client.
