We are looking for an experienced and driven UK Sales Manager to help grow our presence and strengthen partnerships across the UK market.
Role Overview
The UK Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the UK sales strategy for InchDairnie Whisky Ltd brands. The role will focus on growing distribution, strengthening trade relationships, managing key accounts, and increasing brand visibility across both on-trade and off-trade channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a UK-wide sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
- Identify and deliver growth opportunities across on-trade and off-trade channels.
- Execute route-to-market strategies, working with distributors and direct trade accounts.
- Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with key trade partners, wholesalers, and specialist retailers.
- Conduct regular market visits, tastings, and training sessions to support account development.
- Track and report on account performance, sales targets, market trends, and forecasting.
- Brand Advocacy
- Act as a passionate ambassador for InchDairnie and its whisky brands.
- Organise and attend whisky events, trade shows, tastings, and festivals across the UK.
- Deliver product education and training to trade and retail teams.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with marketing and production teams to align sales activity with brand campaigns and stock availability.
- Provide regular sales performance updates and forecasts to the wider commercial team.
Skills & Experience
- Essential
- Proven track record in UK whisky, premium spirits, or drinks sales.
- Strong understanding of the UK on-trade and off-trade landscape.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely with strong self-motivation.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, with regular visits to InchDairnie in Fife.
- Full UK driving licence.

- Experience working with premium or craft spirits brands.
- Knowledge of Scotch whisky categories and production.
- Experience with UK national and regional accounts.
