Role Summary:

  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic review, while developing budgeting and forecasting tools for streams and regions.

Contract: 12 months FTC

Salary: 60-65K (DOE)

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Financial:

  • Assist in preparing strategic review and related materials.
  • Gather and analyze data to support strategic review.
  • Develop and maintain detailed company forecast and financial models.
  • Ad hoc valuation models and data analysis for decision making and acquisition transactions for the wider group.

Reporting:

  • Prepare board and executive management packs with insights on financial activity and strategic initiatives.

Performance Analysis:

  • Analyze company performance and integrate results into corporate reporting.
  • Propose, develop and implement new performance KPIs - understanding the key drivers of the business both current and proposed to facilitate growth of the business.
  • Draw insights to enable management to make accurate decisions based on conclusions drawn from analysis.

Process Improvement:

  • Drive process improvements to streamline related activities.

Collaboration & Mentorship:

  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide alignment across the business.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or higher.
  • Professional certification required (ACCA, CFA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, corporate finance, and investment fundamentals.
  • Hyperion reporting system - advanced, capability to immediately interrogate and prepare queries and supporting analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial results clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking with sound judgment.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excel - intermediate to advanced (financial modelling - 3 statements + scenarios/sensitivities).
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and interpretation of financial statements and key performance metrics.
