Job Summary:
The Offshore Project Manager oversees the successful execution of offshore projects from initiation to completion. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, coordinating logistics, and maintaining communication with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed. Ensure adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate offshore teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors. Conduct regular team meetings and provide clear direction.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Enforce strict compliance with HSE standards and procedures. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Provide regular updates and reports on project status.
- Logistics & Operations: Coordinate offshore logistics including transportation, accommodation, and equipment. Manage procurement and supply chain activities.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct inspections and audits as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- PMP or PRINCE certification (preferred).
- Minimum years of experience in offshore project management.
- Strong knowledge of offshore operations, marine logistics, and HSE regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work offshore for extended periods.
- Experienced with Offshore Construction for Drilling Rigs, FPSO’s etc.
