- Must hold a Level 2 teaching assistant qualification.
- Experience providing specialist support to students with barriers to learning on a one‑to‑one basis.
- Experience promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
- Experience establishing constructive relationships with pupils and interacting with them according to their individual needs.
- Experience promoting good behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established policy, and encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour.
